Transaction Banking, Leadership and Strategy, Associate (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite office role.

Salary: USD 100,000–160,000 base salary, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, refine, and execute Transaction Banking growth strategy with senior leadership.
• Translate complex business objectives into concise presentations for internal committees and external partners.
• Research Transaction Banking and Payments markets, assess competitors, and identify partnerships or product enhancements.
• Coordinate strategic initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
• Define, track, and analyze KPIs covering business growth, product adoption, and financial performance.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and executive communications supporting the division’s strategic roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and 3–7 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in investment banking.
• Strong understanding of Transaction Banking, including Liquidity, Deposits, Commercial Payments such as ACH, Wire, RTP, and SWIFT, and digital/API-led products.
• Solid understanding of emerging payment technologies and digital treasury trends.
• Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with internal cross-functional partners and external stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including synthesizing complex financial and technical concepts into concise executive-level narratives.
• Confidence and maturity when presenting recommendations and interacting with senior leaders and business executives.
• Self-starter mindset, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to manage shifting priorities, and collaborative teamwork.
