Manufacturing Engineer Senior

Location: Onsite at the facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States

Salary: $82,900.00–$134,300.00 per year

What you will do

• Own selected manufacturing processes and support manufacturing excellence across production operations.
• Lead or support complex engineering projects using lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.
• Develop routings, manufacturing bills of materials, time studies, cycle-time balances, and ERP data for accurate cost and labor calculations.
• Determine assembly fixturing, operation sequences, special tooling, and equipment requirements.
• Review new product releases, recommend equipment and tooling, and collaborate with design engineering on corrective actions.
• Provide shop-floor technical guidance and coach supporting engineers or engineering technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines, including occasional work outside typical hours.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, repetitive upper-extremity movements, and occasional lifting or carrying up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with HVAC products, brazing, electrical wiring, and DC torque tools such as Cleco or Apex.
• Experience with EAR-99 and ITAR documentation.
• Experience with machining equipment such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and band saws.
• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Drafting skills and 2D/3D CAD experience, preferably Siemens NX.
