Manufacturing Engineer (Defense Manufacturing)

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year

What you will do

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for vehicle production.
• Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production builds.
• Analyze space requirements, workflows, and equipment layouts to improve efficiency.
• Process engineering changes, proposals, and continuous improvement requests.
• Support project calculations, cost studies, time estimates, technical proposals, and regulatory impact reviews.
• Review and recommend fixture and tooling designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• One to two or more years of relevant experience.
• Basic engineering calculations, investigations, and technical documentation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Applicants may need to be U.S. Persons for positions involving controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR.

Nice to have

• Experience in equipment manufacturing or the automotive industry.
• Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
