Manufacturing Engineer

Base compensation: $87,000–$93,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, document, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost performance.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, improve process capability, and support data-driven decisions.
• Evaluate and implement automation, manufacturing systems, workstations, layouts, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Lead equipment specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
• Improve ERP/MRP integration, manufacturing data collection, shop-floor execution, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and OEE.
• Support product development, manufacturability, manufacturing readiness, production trials, ECO implementation, and new product introductions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
• At least five years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience with process improvement, new product introduction, tooling and fixture design, machining, fabrication, assembly, automation, and manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, statistical process control, process validation, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing data analysis, engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, collaboration, leadership, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
• Experience working with external equipment suppliers.
