Electrical Technician - 3rd Shift (PLC)

Location: Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Diagnose equipment problems using diagrams, schematics, manuals, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments.
• Work with production personnel, contractors, vendors, and OEMs to resolve plant equipment issues.
• Document maintenance actions, parts usage, irregularities, and continuing needs in the CMMS.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable production environment while supporting uptime and production goals.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a 16-month course at an accredited university.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Ability to read and understand machine part lists, preventive maintenance manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficient computer skills, including use of a computerized maintenance management system.
• Ability to use rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and people, in teams, and during overtime or weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in corrugated manufacturing and converting.
