Maintenance Technician

Location: Horn Lake, Mississippi, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in industrial equipment, controls, components, and automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems, motor controls, AC/DC drives, servo systems, PLCs, and other industrial automation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect electrical components, and reduce production downtime.
• Install and support new electrical equipment, upgrades, facility projects, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to identify root causes of failures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts in a CMMS and help train maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• At least five years of experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician, with a strong electrical systems focus.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, meggers, and interpretation of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ability to comply with the NEC, LOTO procedures, PPE requirements, and other safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, and perform physically demanding work in heat, cold, noise, confined spaces, and elevated areas.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
