CNC Operator IV (Manufacturing)

Location: Scotts Valley, California, United States; 1st shift, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; onsite manufacturing environment

Compensation: $18.31–$24.56 per hour

What you will do

• Load, unload, and inspect parts during CNC machining while meeting published production standards.
• Operate CNC lathes, bar-feed lathes, mills, and secondary-operation equipment, including multiple machines simultaneously.
• Read technical prints, tolerance blocks, local notes, revision levels, and surface-finish requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional tolerances.
• Perform deburring, polishing, cleaning, part counting, documentation, and machine-area housekeeping.
• Execute offsets and insert changes, assess tool and job performance, and consult supervisors or technical staff on improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience operating CNC machinery.
• Working knowledge of CNC functions, technical skills, controls, and instrumentation.
• Ability to perform basic decimal calculations and interpret dimensions on technical prints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and use computer systems to validate and enter data.
