CNC Machine Operator I (Aerospace)

Location: Amesbury, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. U.S. citizenship is required due to federal government contracts.

Salary: $23.81–$28.46 per hour

What you will do

• Operate CNC machines and other machine-shop equipment.
• Record manufacturing data accurately in computer systems.
• Inspect products for defects and report issues to supervisors or leads.
• Measure parts with micrometers and gauges and use deburring tools to correct flaws.
• Maintain clean equipment and workspaces using 5S methodology.
• Follow quality, EHS, safety, company policy, and Code of Business Conduct requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Ability to read basic measurement devices and perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently or as part of a team.
• U.S. citizenship is required; ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus.
