Sr. Systems Engineer, SAP Basis (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office work model. Only U.S. persons are eligible due to U.S. export control requirements.

Salary: $130,800–$209,400 annually, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Lead administration, maintenance, optimization, and lifecycle management for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, HANA, BTP, Fiori, Solution Manager/Cloud ALM, and Cloud Connector environments.
• Manage RISE with SAP implementations, migrations, upgrades, releases, patches, system copies, refreshes, and landscape transformations.
• Define SAP technical architecture, infrastructure requirements, implementation plans, validation activities, and deployment strategies.
• Maintain high availability, disaster recovery, backup, recovery, security, monitoring, and performance management for SAP platforms.
• Provide production support and escalation management, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish governance, technical standards, documentation, change and release processes, and mentor junior SAP Basis administrators.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive SAP Basis administration experience in large enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori, Solution Manager or Cloud ALM, and BTP.
• Experience with RISE with SAP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or RISE-managed environments.
• Expertise in HANA administration, replication, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, performance optimization, Linux, databases, storage, and virtualization.
