SAP Consultant (S/4HANA)

Location: Must be based in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Georgia. Hybrid work with travel and onsite requirements; regional travel of approximately 25% is expected.

Salary: $88,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead technical oversight and Independent Verification and Validation services for a major cloud-based ERP migration project.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE migration activities and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Own system- and stage-gate-level assessments, deliverables, and project assurance work products.
• Manage or support teams working across architecture, software design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and project oversight.
• Identify project risks, blockers, root causes, and patterns, and develop recommendations based on complex research and data.
• Support RFP responses, proposal writing, bid decisions, and market differentiation strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in implementation, IV&V, project management, quality assurance, or project oversight for state government systems.
• Experience implementing or technically managing a large-scale cloud-based ERP system, preferably an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE migration.
• Experience providing QA or IV&V for large HR or financial system implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP modules and integration, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, FICO, MM, and SD.
• Experience with SAP architecture, cloud migration, SAP RISE, SAP Business Technology Platform, APIs, middleware, SAP HANA, and SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree, excellent writing and presentation skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, cloud connectors, ABAP, Fiori, or Java.
• Background in healthcare, finance, education, human services, corrections, or other public sector programs.
