SAP Technical Administrator

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Install, configure, administer, and optimize SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and NetWeaver landscapes.
• Manage SAP HANA databases, system copies, refreshes, upgrades, and migrations.
• Implement SAP cloud migrations across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions.
• Administer transport management, performance tuning, monitoring, and security patching.
• Develop administration automation with Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Troubleshoot production issues, maintain documentation, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP Basis or platform administration experience; 6+ years of overall experience preferred.
• Strong experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and Solution Manager.
• Experience with SAP upgrades, cloud migrations, high availability/disaster recovery, and transport management.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• SAP Basis, HANA, or S/4HANA certifications.
• Experience with SAP RISE/Grow, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience supporting regulated environments such as SOX, GxP, or PCI.
