What you will do

• Provide general nursing care in accordance with clinical standards.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, IV fluids, and IV medications according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, treatment responses, vital signs, allergies, and medication updates.
• Perform EKGs, oximetry readings, and blood specimen collection.
• Triage incoming calls, phone in prescriptions as directed, and educate patients and families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• At least 3 years of LPN experience.
• Current LPN license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing required.
• BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, handle and lift patients, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
