LPN - Triage Hybrid (Remote/Onsite) - Dermatology

Location: Hybrid remote/onsite at Tufts Medical Center; Massachusetts LPN license required

Pay range: $30.00–$33.59 per hour

What you will do

• Provide outpatient nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Implement nursing interventions, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures.
• Assess and reassess patient pain, health status, and responses to care.
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatments, activities of daily living, and discharge instructions.
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, observations, and education in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members, delegate appropriate responsibilities, and participate in performance improvement.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Experience based on unit requirements and needs.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, patient care, pharmacology, and medication administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care across patient populations and respond to emergency situations.

Nice to have

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
