IT Software Engineer - .Net/Web (.NET)

Location: Hybrid work in or within 30 miles of Centennial, CO; Lincoln, NE; Sidney, NE; or Madison, WI. The standard schedule includes 24 hours of in-office work per week. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to complete a U.S. government security clearance.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annual compensation, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Develop enterprise-wide, cross-functional software solutions.
• Participate in solution design for diverse business needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, design documents, and specifications.
• Follow technology and security best practices, including NIST compliance practices.
• Provide post-implementation support by monitoring application performance and debugging existing code.
• Collaborate with software architects, business analysts, and technical teams while evaluating new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong relational database knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET 8 or higher, C#, Microsoft IIS, and REST Web Services.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, application integration, network or server infrastructure, and analytical problem-solving.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance and hold U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile or iterative delivery approaches.
• Knowledge of NIST compliance.
