Senior Software Developer (Guidewire Certified)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, with a 50% hybrid work environment; remote work may be possible outside Omaha based on job-related experience.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of business application software serving company personnel, claimants, agency customers, and insureds.
• Collaborate with software architects on the design of new applications.
• Identify and manage security risks within software products.
• Coach programming staff on development standards, secure coding, methodologies, source control, databases, environments, deployment, and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Guidewire Developer Ace Certification, preferably in PolicyCenter or BillingCenter.
• At least five years of related work experience.
• Experience leading software development teams.
• Experience with secure coding practices.

Nice to have

• Guidewire Cloud implementation experience.
• Guidewire InsuranceSuite or BillingCenter Developer Ace Certification.
• Experience with Umbraco CMS.
• Software, database, or project management certification.
• Experience with .NET, C#, Angular, SQL, and Azure Cloud.
