Production Supervisor (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; onsite production environment

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate daily production and assembly activities.
• Develop production schedules and ensure targets and quality standards are met.
• Monitor staff performance, assign work, recruit employees, and support team development.
• Resolve production issues, plan corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Prepare production reports and metrics while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field and 5+ years of related experience, or 7+ years of experience without a degree; a higher-level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments and practical application of manufacturing principles.
• Previous management or lead experience, including directing, evaluating, and developing staff.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
• Experience with corrective action planning and military or civilian electronics schooling.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• OSHA 10-Hour Training certification.
• Experience in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
