Production Supervisor (CNC Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Salem, Ohio, United States; second shift starts at 4:00 PM. The role requires access to NOFORN naval nuclear propulsion information and therefore requires proof of US citizenship and an attestation of no dual citizenship.

Salary: $36 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead second-shift machining operations and serve as the primary authority on the production floor.
• Keep production schedules on track while maintaining safe and efficient team performance.
• Manage the setup and operation of multi-axis lathes and horizontal mills.
• Address CNC error codes, adjust offsets, and resolve mechanical issues with limited support.
• Ensure machined parts meet production standards, quality requirements, and tight tolerances.
• Support and supervise 3–5 employees across non-destructive testing, inspection, and storeroom departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 10+ years of equivalent experience in industrial manufacturing.
• 1–5 years of experience in a CNC manufacturing or engineering environment; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with CNC programming and operations, multi-axis lathes, and horizontal mills.
• Experience leading teams and managing union employees.
• US citizenship and proof of citizenship are required; dual citizenship is not permitted for this role.
