Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Intern (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Kent, Washington, USA

Salary: $21–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Build and maintain a database for the maintenance program.
• Create and update maintenance work instructions.
• Participate in plant mapping, layout planning, and equipment evaluations.
• Schedule and track preventive maintenance activities.
• Research equipment and items, including locating serial numbers.
• Track work orders, provide progress updates, and support maintenance and facilities staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; enrollment in a related accredited college or university program is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new tasks, solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months, hold a valid driver's license, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, certain temporary residents, refugees, or asylees.

Nice to have

• Interest in aerospace, engineering, maintenance, or facilities management.
• Enrollment in a related degree program.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
