IT Functional Analyst - SAP Finance

What you will do

• Analyze, document, and improve Finance business processes with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
• Support SAP Finance enhancements, projects, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities across SAP S/4HANA and ECC 6.0.
• Serve as the primary IT liaison for Accounts Payable, supporting invoice workflows, payments, vendor reconciliation, 1099 reporting, and travel and expense integrations.
• Support F110 automatic payments, vendor blocking, payment controls, electronic payment interfaces, and banking integrations.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support, resolve production issues, and support month-end, year-end, HyperCare, and major release activities.
• Identify automation opportunities and leverage SAP and AI-enabled technologies to improve Finance operations, reporting, and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of SAP Finance experience supporting FI business processes.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and SAP AP functionality, with working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
• Understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.
• Experience supporting integrations between SAP Finance and other business functions, including MM, Purchasing, SD, and Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance, payment processing, payment automation, banking integrations, or electronic payments.
• Knowledge of tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting Finance projects and system implementations.
• Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, reporting tools, and automation platforms.
