Financial Controls Business Analyst-Associate

Salary: $63,496–$93,188 per year, depending on compensation grade.

What you will do

• Process and audit complex vendor invoices for contract labor, services, equipment, materials, per diem, escalation, overheads, and subcontractor billing.
• Interpret contractual financial terms, review compliance, and dispute invoices when required.
• Maintain financial controls and accurate project and work order reporting for operating companies, transmission companies, and joint ventures.
• Identify and submit unvouchered liabilities in line with accounting policies and SOX requirements.
• Support process improvement, LEAN initiatives, benchmarking, data analytics, reporting, automation, and special studies.
• Assist with audits, training initiatives, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, contract administration, or a related field.
• For SG5: 0–3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 4 years with an associate degree.
• For SG6: at least 3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 6 years with an associate degree.
• Experience in accounting, finance, contract administration, budgeting, benchmarking, or auditing.
• Strong commercial, analytical, written and oral communication, presentation, teamwork, and planning skills.
• Ability to work on site in New Albany, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft Financials, Cognos, Maximo, Power BI, SQL, or Workiva.
