Business Analyst (Billing)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, NY (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Salary: $68,900 - $118,050 USD

What you will do

• Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of billing and payment processes and platforms.
• Develop process maps, use cases, and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Product, Finance, and Technology teams to translate business needs into solutions.
• Support project delivery through requirement clarification, risk identification, and issue resolution.
• Manage testing strategies, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production releases.
• Analyze data trends and performance metrics to identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 5-9 years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations, Product, or Project Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong proficiency in requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, or Waterfall.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York City office.

Nice to have

• Experience within a corporate billing function.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Familiarity with tools like ADO, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucid, Miro, or Smartsheets.
