Senior Analyst, Project Control (Power BI)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States. Hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire and to project sites may be required.

Annual salary: $113,900–$126,550, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Analyze project and program data and report on engineering organization performance.
• Monitor capital program costs, commitments, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and variances.
• Develop complex project reports, KPIs, progress charts, templates, and management metrics.
• Track compliance with project decision documents, records management, quality control, policies, and procedures.
• Apply project analytics to identify trends, recommend actions, and improve capital program performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, investment planning, operations, procurement, contract administration, and materials teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, accounting, finance, business, or an equivalent field.
• Five to eight years of related experience with complex, multi-year project environments, including project management, accounting, or financial business analysis exposure.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of financial modeling, accounting, risk management, project management information systems, engineering economics, capital investment analysis, plant accounting, tax, and capital budgeting.
• Ability to analyze cost and scheduling data, prepare forecasts, make recommendations, communicate effectively, and lead reporting activities.
