TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst, Policy and Procedures (Accounting): Leading the development, maintenance, and interpretation of global accounting policies and procedures with an accent on financial governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Focus on translating accounting standards into actionable guidance, supporting audits and control reviews, and driving policy implementation across multiple stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid role based in Raynham, Massachusetts, United States; travel up to 10%, primarily domestic.

Salary: $94,000–$151,800 base pay per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and governance of global accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze changes in accounting standards and company policies, translating them into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Internal Audit on financial audits, risk assessments, and control reviews.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on accounting policies to business partners and finance teams.
  • Support policy implementation through training materials, communications, and change management.
  • Monitor adherence, identify simplification opportunities, and prepare governance analyses and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, policy, or internal controls in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and policy governance.
  • Experience interpreting and applying accounting policies across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical guidance in plain language.
  • Business proficiency in English required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and audit processes.
  • Experience with global or multi-entity organizations, policy harmonization, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools proficiency.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or a similar certification.
