Senior Accountant - Equity Transactions

Location: Hybrid role based in Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $79,000–$119,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for equity and other assigned accounts.
• Calculate quarterly stock-based compensation expense, income attributable to noncontrolling interests, and earnings per share.
• Prepare financial statement footnotes, statements, supporting files, and assigned sections of SEC filings.
• Research complex accounting matters, draft accounting memos, and support reviews involving significant judgments and estimates.
• Contribute to process improvement projects and implement or enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
• Support business initiatives, system integrations, change management, and collaboration with corporate accounting and global reporting teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• At least two years of corporate or manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience applying GAAP and working with large amounts of data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PowerPivot, PowerQuery, index/match, pivot tables, multiple IF statements, and financial modeling.
• Experience with technical accounting, external reporting, SEC requirements, or public accounting clients is preferred.
• Experience with internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley 404, consolidation systems such as Oracle EPM or BPC, and cross-functional project leadership is preferred.

• Master’s degree in Accounting.
