Senior Accountant - Consolidations & Reporting

Location: Hybrid role based in Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $79,000–$119,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Manage the monthly global close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, reports, topside journal entries, and intercompany and investment eliminations.
• Develop financial information for internal and external reporting in collaboration with accounting, FP&A, tax, and treasury teams.
• Review intercompany balances and reconciliations and improve related controls and processes.
• Evaluate new accounting and reporting rules in Oracle and FCCS and support accounting standard implementations.
• Support acquisitions, divestitures, internal reorganizations, system integrations, and other initiatives affecting financial statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidations, or technical accounting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including index/match, pivot tables, and multiple IF statements.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and experience working with large amounts of data.
• Experience with consolidation systems such as Tagetik, Oracle EPM, or BPC is preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with SEC reporting at a public company or with listed public accounting clients.
• Experience in a multinational manufacturing or distribution company with multiple legal entities.
• Experience with cash flow statement preparation or review, Alteryx, and/or Tableau.
