Applications Engineer

Location: Remote in Ohio, United States; occasional travel for team meetings, customer visits, conferences, trade shows, or office visits, typically under 10%

Company

Develops computer vision algorithms and software for creating 3D CAD models of process plants, buildings, bridges, and cities.

What you will do

• Support users with company software and respond to simpler customer support tickets with guidance.
• Assist with customer training and software demonstrations.
• Execute assigned software, hardware, and product behavior tests.
• Document test results and learn to identify and report defects.
• Provide internal IT and business operations support to development, product, marketing, and sales teams.
• Communicate customer feedback and feature requests to application engineering leads and product management.

Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• Comfort working in a technical environment.
• Strong verbal, written communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to participate in remote meetings across global time zones.

Nice to have

• Technology-related degree.
• Experience in construction, 3D modeling, laser scanning, or software development.
