Machine Control Application Specialist (Geomatics)

Location: Zellik, Belgium; office-based with one day working from home and travel to jobsites and customers throughout Belgium and Luxembourg

What you will do

• Provide daily technical support by email, phone, and chat for hirify.global and Sokkia products in the Belgium and Luxembourg market.
• Support hirify.global distribution partners, end users, Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services in pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Lead and maintain dealer and end-user training on machine control applications.
• Prepare technical demonstrations, presentations, and business solutions for the Sales team.
• Create online technical content, including quick guides, how-to materials, and notifications.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for machine control, geo-positioning, Topnet Live, and CORS applications.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of machine control techniques and geomatics; a degree in Construction Engineering, Geodesy, Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
• Approximately three years of experience in construction applications, vertical or road construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with construction jobsite processes and comfort working with IT systems such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Salesforce.
• Hands-on troubleshooting ability, professional communication skills, and a friendly, supportive, and assertive approach.
• Dutch is mandatory; good verbal and written French and English are required.
• Ability to move safely and independently on construction sites and construction machinery, with willingness to travel to customer jobsites.
