Sr. Infrastructure & Cloud Spend Manager (FinOps)

Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid onsite schedule

Base salary: $132,000–$198,000 per year, plus benefits and potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own financial visibility and accountability for AWS, Azure, GCP, data center, and colocation spend.
• Build a cost taxonomy mapping infrastructure spend to products, teams, and business units.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and variance analysis.
• Identify and drive optimization opportunities such as reserved instances, savings plans, rightsizing, and architecture changes.
• Evaluate vendor contracts and support negotiations using cost and usage analysis.
• Build FinOps dashboards and self-service analytics, and advise Engineering and Finance leaders on infrastructure investment decisions.

Requirements

• Expertise in FP&A, cost and financial analysis, or FinOps, with autonomy to own complex infrastructure spend.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure cost drivers and pricing models across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including analysis of large and complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and business-partnership skills for translating technical cost drivers into financial recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to work from the Lexington, Massachusetts office on a hybrid onsite schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with FinOps tools such as CloudHealth, Cloudability, Kubecost, or native cloud cost-management tools.
• SQL proficiency and experience with Snowflake or a similar data platform.
• Experience in a private-equity-backed or high-growth environment focused on EBITDA and cost management.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification or willingness to obtain it.
