What you will do

  • Develop, review, and issue maintenance work packages, task cards, and job routings for scheduled inspections, repairs, and modifications.
  • Forecast long-range maintenance requirements based on aircraft utilization, maintenance intervals, and regulatory directives.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Materials and Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure parts, tooling, and technical data are available.
  • Maintain aircraft maintenance tracking systems and analyze program data to identify trends and optimize task packaging.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and customer maintenance directives.
  • Prepare maintenance forecasts, capacity plans, status reports, and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 0–2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in aviation maintenance planning or a similar area.
  • Awareness of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance programs, and maintenance tracking or MRO software systems.
  • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Boeing 747-8 maintenance activities.
  • A&P certification.
  • Experience in a Part 145 repair station or airline maintenance planning environment.
