What you will do
- Plan daily non-emergency maintenance work and long-term projects for instrumentation and electrical departments.
- Prepare job packages in the Work Management Information System (WMIS), including labor estimates, parts, materials, tools, and special equipment.
- Coordinate work orders with Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Engineering, suppliers, contractors, and the Maintenance Scheduler.
- Maintain equipment records, bills of material, specification sheets, equipment histories, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Support shutdown and turnaround planning, troubleshoot plant equipment, and monitor failures, repair costs, and maintenance backlog.
- Apply CF standards, government codes, engineering practices, Management of Change procedures, and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Two years of college, an associate degree, or five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial chemical setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and environmental, health, and safety procedures.
- Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn WMIS and other planning tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and collaboratively, and present information to management.
- Ability to climb towers, enter confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
