IT Site Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Record, resolve, monitor, and escalate service desk incidents within SLA targets.
• Install and configure new PC hardware and software according to departmental standards.
• Coordinate with global technology teams to resolve network and systems issues affecting manufacturing operations.
• Raise incident notifications and support restoration of IT services.
• Maintain accurate incident, change, and production documentation.
• Provide on-call and out-of-hours support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of recent experience supporting Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, Office 365, Teams, networking, and manufacturing production environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently within strict operational procedures and maintain high service levels in a high-availability environment.
• Must qualify as a US Person, including US citizenship, US nationality, lawful permanent residence, qualifying temporary residence, refugee status, or asylum status.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SCCM and PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• ITIL experience.
