Lining Technician (Packaging)

Location: Champaign, Illinois, United States; onsite at a manufacturing facility

Salary: $23.31–$25.91 per hour

What you will do

• Reset and calibrate vision systems at the start of each shift.
• Verify materials against the daily production schedule and measure closures using precision tools.
• Perform visual quality inspections and monitor control panels for jams or malfunctions.
• Make mechanical adjustments and minor repairs to high-speed lining equipment.
• Document production performance and communicate relevant information to the next shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work a 12-hour night schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation, with every other weekend off.
