Product Packaging Technician

Location: North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States; onsite

Salary: $20.77–$32.45 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Interpret production schedules and shop orders, and stage products, packaging materials, and labels.
• Set up and operate packaging and labeling equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Assemble product kits and packages based on customer and internal requirements.
• Process outgoing shipments, including hazardous materials, using ERP and electronic manufacturing systems.
• Perform unitizing, batch breakdown, pipetting, flame sealing, counting, inspection, put-away, stocking, and palletizing activities.
• Support inventory management, cycle counting, safety and quality communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory support experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn ERP and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and commitment to product quality and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in walk-in freezers and with hazardous materials.
