Assembly Technician (Packaging Machinery)

Location: Onsite in Caledonia, Illinois, United States

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble components, subassemblies, and packaging machinery using blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
• Perform quality checks and verify that manufacturing standards are met.
• Identify product defects and communicate them to the supervisor.
• Rework and repair assembled equipment according to specifications.
• Maintain a safety-focused, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of manufacturing experience; machine assembly experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand machine drawings and blueprints.
• Strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, and math skills.
• Excellent safety practices and mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple jobs, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and maintain good attendance; employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.
