Machine Control Application Specialist

Location: Zellik, Belgium, with regular customer and jobsite visits across Belgium and Luxembourg; hybrid working with one day per week from home.

What you will do

• Provide daily technical support by email, phone, and chat for Topcon and Sokkia machine control products in Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Support dealers, distribution partners, and end users with practical application knowledge before and after sales.
• Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in machine control applications, with additional exposure to geopositioning, Topnet Live, and CORS solutions.
• Create customer-facing quick guides, how-to materials, and technical notifications.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services EMEA, and international Support colleagues while continuing product training and certification.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of machine control, geomatics, surveying, or construction technology; experience in road, infrastructure, or vertical construction is valued.
• A degree in Construction Engineering, Geodesy, Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in construction applications, infrastructure projects, geomatics, surveying, or technical customer support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, technical curiosity, and willingness to work hands-on with customers, machines, and jobsite challenges.
• Clear professional communication and comfort with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Salesforce, and other business systems.
• Dutch is mandatory; good written and spoken French and English are also required. Ability to travel across Belgium and Luxembourg is required.
