Loss & Prevention Manager

Location: Carneys Point, New Jersey, United States; onsite at the returns center. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for Monday–Sunday operations, including occasional evening, weekend, or on-call hours.

Salary: $79,000–$105,000 USD base salary per year; bonus and equity may be available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Manage security personnel assignments, schedules, briefings, performance, and coverage across operational shifts.
• Investigate suspected theft, fraud, unexplained losses, and security incidents; document findings and prepare reports.
• Coordinate emergency response, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and law-enforcement interactions.
• Monitor CCTV performance, review footage, maintain archives, and coordinate repairs, upgrades, and vendor support.
• Develop and implement site-specific loss prevention policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Manage security agency and CCTV vendor relationships, including performance reviews, renewals, cost evaluation, and negotiations.

Requirements

• Experience managing security operations, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or related functions.
• Availability for a full-time 40-hour schedule with flexibility for shift coverage and occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work.
• Ability to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security and asset protection regulations.
• Ability to conduct security awareness training and monitor staff compliance with site policies.
• Ability to coordinate with external security agencies, vendors, and law enforcement.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in warehouse, returns processing, logistics, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, or retail operations.
• Loss prevention or security management certification such as CPP or CFE.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and loss analytics tools.
