Senior Principal Real World Analyst (RWA)-2 (Real-World Evidence)

Location: Remote/Home-Based; Philadelphia, PA; US-based candidates only

Base salary: $151,200–$226,800 per year, plus potential bonus, incentive compensation, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Conduct and audit real-world evidence analyses using administrative claims, electronic medical records, and registry data.
• Apply advanced statistical and epidemiological methods to time-to-event, cross-sectional, and longitudinal data.
• Clean and validate real-world data and analytical outputs for consistency and reliability.
• Document analytical programming code and operational definitions to support reproducible and auditable studies.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate complex data insights.
• Collaborate with RWA leads and project contributors to deliver studies and recurring reports on schedule.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience with an MS or 2 years with a PhD in biopharma, RWE consulting, or healthcare.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Flatiron and Optum data and expertise with multiple real-world data sources.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and R.
• Experience with US and global healthcare coding systems, including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, or MedDRA, and healthcare delivery systems.
• Ability to work with big-data analytical platforms such as Snowflake and maintain rigorous, accurate research outputs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
