Sr. Corporate Legal Counsel (Legal Director) (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite in Piscataway, New Jersey, United States, ideally four days per week

Salary: $220,000–$230,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Review contracts and provide corporate legal support to U.S. business units.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and required AI tools.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Secretary Office on organizational matters for U.S. legal entities.
• Track legal and regulatory developments affecting biotechnology, technology, life sciences, employment, and HR compliance.
• Manage litigation cases, internal investigations, information gathering, and outside legal counsel.
• Coordinate with HR and external law firms on employment-related immigration and visa matters.

Requirements

• J.D. law degree and 10–20 years of legal experience as a licensed lawyer in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and deadline management.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot legal issues and develop solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work onsite in Piscataway, New Jersey, ideally four days per week.
