Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Onsite in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $98,964–$120,957 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead Lean Six Sigma teams and Product and Process Understanding efforts to improve safety, yields, and productivity.
• Drive capital investment, new product introduction, and new technologies to expand manufacturing capabilities.
• Troubleshoot defects and process variation, perform root cause analysis, and implement systemic solutions.
• Communicate across organizational levels to establish direction and drive positive change.
• Support a dynamic 24x7 operation and participate in on-call coverage.
• Contribute to environmental health and safety culture and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline from an accredited institution.
• Three years of engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment is an additional qualification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, practical hands-on skills, problem-solving ability, analytical comprehension, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Design of Experiments, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams across multiple locations and divisions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship. U.S. person status may also be assessed for export-control compliance.
