Quality Manager I (Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Compensation: $89,300–$165,800 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead quality performance for the stainless-steel value stream and act as the primary quality liaison.
• Coach, develop, schedule, and support four Quality Technicians.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Lean, Engineering, Sales, Materials, Procurement, HR, and Maintenance teams.
• Investigate internal nonconformances and customer complaints using Six Sigma tools and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and sustain corrective and preventive action processes.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance, lead external audits, and support product and process audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality functions.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing others; formal leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience with process management, organizational change, Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and quality management systems.
• Strong customer and supplier management skills, including communication and escalation of complex quality issues.
• Experience applying APQP practices, including PFMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, Capability Studies, First Article Inspection, and product or process revisions.

Nice to have

• CQE, CMQ, or CQA certification.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.
• Sheet-steel manufacturing experience.
• Certified Welding Inspector certification.
