Quality Engineer II - Weekend Shift

Location: Blaine, Minnesota, United States; onsite weekend shift, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

Compensation: $62,900–$116,900 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Represent the Quality function and serve as a primary liaison with customers on quality expectations and concerns.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers to deliver compliant, high-quality products.
• Lead and participate in Material Review Board activities, including timely disposition and corrective actions.
• Manage internal non-conformance reports, customer complaints, and external quality issues through resolution.
• Evaluate nonconforming materials and lead problem-solving using Six Sigma DMAIC, containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Support APQP for new product launches, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, GR&R, capability studies, and First Article Inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
• At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing or quality processes.
• Experience with process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean training, and quality systems.
• Availability for the onsite Friday–Sunday schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Nice to have

• CQE, CMQ, or CQA certification, or ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.
• Experience with optical, multi-sensor, and scanning inspection equipment.
• Experience supporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
