New Product Manufacturing Engineer III (E3) (Electro-Mechanical)

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing readiness for Remote AC Racks, Equipment Racks, MF AC Boxes, and FI/Mainframe Controls.
• Develop, validate, and release product BOMs, operation method sheets, and system configurations.
• Perform 3D model analysis and participate in design reviews focused on manufacturability, cost, quality, and cycle time.
• Lead engineering builds, qualification activities, form-fit-function validation, and system-level integration checks.
• Resolve production issues through root-cause corrective analysis, real-time troubleshooting, rework, containment, and shortage mitigation.
• Support suppliers and contract manufacturers, including first-article validation and transition from NPI to volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Strong experience in electro-mechanical engineering or New Product Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge of Remote AC systems, including MRAC, CMAC, CAAC, and EQRK.
• Knowledge of electrical system components, packaging, Remote AC Rack load calculations, schematics, interconnects, and cable assemblies.
• Experience with value analysis of schematics, cables, components, and BOMs.
• Proven experience in NPI, system integration, manufacturing support, and collaboration with global teams and contract manufacturers.
• Ability to work in production and clean-room environments, including use of PPE, hand tools, and power tools; travel to supplier or contract manufacturer sites may be required.
