Director, Training Strategy & Process Enablement (Biotech)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a 70/30 in-office work model. Only U.S. persons are eligible due to U.S. export control requirements.

Salary: $167,000–$300,700 annually, with potential eligibility for a discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for Development-wide training, learning, and capability programs.
• Establish role-based and trial-specific learning frameworks supporting onboarding, role progression, compliance, and inspection readiness.
• Partner with Business Process Owners, Quality, Controlled Documentation, Clinical Operations, and other functions to integrate training into process and document lifecycle changes.
• Lead training impact assessments and change-management initiatives for SOPs, work instructions, policies, systems, and process transformations.
• Define training effectiveness metrics, knowledge assessments, adoption measures, dashboards, and performance indicators.
• Oversee global trial-specific training, learning technologies, vendor partnerships, audit readiness, and competency management.

Requirements

• BA/BS required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environments.
• Experience leading enterprise learning, training, organizational capability, or process-enablement programs.
• Experience supporting GCP-regulated clinical development organizations and understanding clinical trial processes, quality systems, controlled documentation, and inspection readiness.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, eLearning technologies, Veeva Vault, and digital learning platforms.
• Strong change management, analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
