TL;DR
Electronics Assembler II-III (Aerospace) (Fine Soldering and Rework): Manufacturing and repairing aerospace and defense electronic assemblies through soldering, inspection, equipment operation, and documented assembly processes with an accent on IPC standards, quality control, and production accuracy. Focus on interpreting engineering drawings, resolving non-conformances, completing first article inspections, and mentoring team members across multiple assembly processes.
Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday shifts: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Only US Persons may be considered where access to controlled data or information is required; ITAR restrictions apply.
Salary: Level II $22.26–$27.45 per hour; Level III $25.61–$32.80 per hour.

What you will do
- Perform electronics assembly, component preparation, cleaning, marking, inspection, soldering, repair, and rework.
- Set up and operate assigned equipment while working across 4–7 established area processes.
- Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly aids, production plans, and oral instructions.
- Investigate quality issues with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and leadership; create work orders, NCRs, and First Article Inspections.
- Prioritize production demand, complete paperwork, close work orders, and support engineering builds.
- Train and mentor employees and support Lean and Crane Business System initiatives, including 5S, KPIs, Standard Work, and problem solving.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of related experience or equivalent training.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience.
- Proficient English reading comprehension is required.
- Current IPC Solder Rework Certification and proficiency with soldering, inspection, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read production and engineering prints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions; strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity.
- Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment, use required PPE, and lift or push up to 40 pounds.
Nice to have
- IPC Soldering or Rework/Repair Certification.
- Ability to coach and mentor others.
- Experience maintaining equipment on a stringent calibration schedule.
- Experience with Oracle, Teamcenter, QMS, or Excel.
