Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Aerospace)

Location: Moorpark, California, United States; onsite, full-time, 2nd shift

Salary: $21–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble complex electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products using hand and automatic shop tools.
• Work as part of a production cell team to complete assigned hardware.
• Follow work instructions, travelers, procedures, and Quality Management System requirements.
• Complete production records, travelers, logs, and material traceability documentation accurately.
• Perform mechanical and electrical testing on products.
• Follow environmental health and safety requirements while working with detailed components.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Experience assembling small, detailed components and using a microscope.
• Ability to use hand tools, read measuring tools, and perform mechanical and electrical testing.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and perform standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive-motion activities.

Nice to have

• Soldering certification according to J-STD or NASA standards.
• Experience working in Class 100,000 and Class 10,000 cleanrooms.
