Injection Molding Maintenance Specialist, 1st Shift

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons and related production equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and control systems.
• Repair AC/DC electrical systems, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, PLCs, and automation controls.
• Complete machining, fabrication, and welding projects supporting equipment repairs and continuous improvement.
• Read schematics, hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings, and AutoCAD prints; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel and machine operators on troubleshooting, equipment operation, and maintenance practices.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons.
• Strong electrical background covering AC/DC electricity, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, and controls; an electrician’s license is preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, automation controls, mechatronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Hands-on manual or CNC machining experience, or a machinist apprenticeship, plus welding and fabrication experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings; proven ability to train and mentor technicians and operators.
• High school diploma; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical duties. Steel-toed footwear is required.
