Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Location: Alexandria, Minnesota, United States; onsite at hirify.global, 2010 42nd Avenue West, Suite 100

Compensation: $20.40–$37.80 per hour. Sign-on bonus: $2,000, payable after 90 days of employment and subject to applicable taxes.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain molding, stamping, assembly, packaging, and auxiliary machines.
• Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance on production equipment.
• Improve and update existing equipment and participate in design reviews for new and existing equipment.
• Initiate and implement cost-reduction and continuous-improvement projects.
• Document equipment work in Mapcon and maintain spare-parts ihirify.globalory.
• Keep the work area clean and organized and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC programs, and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to operate shop equipment and hand tools for repairs.
• Knowledge of world-class manufacturing practices, injection-molding operations and processes, and machine controls.
• Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, Mapcon, and PLCs, along with strong organizational skills.
