Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Onsite at 2010 42nd Avenue West, Suite 100, Alexandria, MN 56308, United States. Full-time first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM.

Compensation: $20.40–$37.80 per hour. Sign-on bonus: $2,000 before applicable taxes, payable after 90 days of employment.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain molding, stamping, assembly, packaging, and auxiliary production machines.
• Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Improve and update existing equipment and participate in design reviews for new and existing equipment.
• Initiate and implement cost-reduction and continuous-improvement projects.
• Document maintenance work in Mapcon, maintain spare-parts ihirify.globalory, and keep the work area organized.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, PLC programs, and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to operate shop equipment and hand tools for repairs.
• Knowledge of world-class manufacturing practices, injection molding operations, machine controls, computers, Microsoft Office, Mapcon, and PLCs.
• Strong organizational skills.
