Cosmetic Inspector (Automotive)

Location: US TX; travel to DFW required for training

Salary: $24.60 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify scratches, dents, paint imperfections, and other cosmetic damage.
• Record inspection findings in hirify.global's proprietary software systems.
• Capture high-quality photographs showing vehicle condition and cosmetic imperfections.
• Follow hirify.global's inspection standards and guidelines to maintain consistent, accurate assessments.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Inspectors, Auction Coordinators, and Customer Service Representatives to support auction operations.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and cosmetic discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing, bodywork, or cosmetic inspection is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with digital photography equipment and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess and document cosmetic damage accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate with a dynamic team.

• Additional education or certification in automotive technology or a related field.
