Vehicle Condition Assessor (Automotive)

Location: NC - Charlotte - Gastonia; 1600 Remount Rd, Gastonia, North Carolina

Salary: $17.00–$27.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess and document cosmetic and mechanical vehicle conditions for appraisal analysis.
• Option vehicles accurately during assessments and inventory updates.
• Capture high-quality images of wholesale vehicles for hirify.global websites.
• Prepare vehicles for wholesale auctions and support auction operations.
• Complete vehicle secures and confirmations, resolve appraisal discrepancies, and assist with transfers and lot merchandising.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Purchasing Managers while supporting associate onboarding and operational standards.

Requirements

• Ability to provide strong customer service and collaborate across departments.
• Ability to follow standardized processes, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external customer interactions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with the physical ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

• Experience in vehicle assessments or a related automotive field.
